She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and a minor in Chemistry, at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University in 2021 where she was a CSBSJU Art Scholarship and NSF FoCuS Scholarship recipient. Peddle’s work largely focuses on complex emotions—particularly those tied to womanhood and gendered oppression—and how they can be expressed, confronted, and ultimately redefined. Her work Cassé: A Short Film on Sexual Assault won Best Narrative at the JEC Film Festival and the People’s Choice Award at the Student Juried Art Exhibition at her institution. Additionally, her work has been featured in many student shows, most notably La Femme: A Celebration of Femininity, a feminist art exhibition she curated herself. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at the Maine College of Art & Design in Portland, Maine.
